Septarian Nodule Buffalo

These one-of-a-kind sculptures are carved from a septarian nodule, formed some 50 to 70 million years ago, when the Gulf of Mexico extended into what is now Southern Utah. These classic stones have a unique combination of creamy yellow and dark-brown calcite, as well as impurities such as aragonite, dolomite, and siderite.
